Iowa Summer Jam is an all day music festival for all ages which showcases local talent of all genres from various cities in Iowa at one big venue. The first Summer Jam in 2011 thrown by Big Bang made history in Iowa. A huge networking event that has built life long working relationships and friendships that have blossomed to major opportunities and lasted over the years. Last year’s Iowa Summer Jam was held at McGrath Amphitheatre the state’s larges outdoor venue. This year we are putting more focus on the back to school drive aspect of the event and instead of going for a larger venue we are investing more in the supplies and even accepting backpacks as a form of admission. Iowa Summer Jam 2019 will be held at Hawkeye Downs Saturday July 13th from 3pm – 10pm. Tickets are only $10 or you get free admission by donating a backpack.….. Read More
The biggest part of Iowa Summer Jam is the artist. This is a showcase of the most talented performers across Iowa. To nominate an artist or inquire please click the contact button above.
3:00pmDoors open at 3pm. And clean family appropriate music will be played until the first performance at 5pm
5:00pm5pm the first performance will happen.
7:00pmHip Hop performances begin at 7pm until close the night. These will be more explicit performances. Mature audiences recommended.
10:00pmSquiddy Boiz Lou Kane and Ike Midas will close the show from 9:30pm – 9:50. Event ends at 10pm
We will have attendees from all over the country flying in to attend this event. People who are originally from Iowa that moved away. Individuals with industry connections that are scouting talent to see who is the best Iowa has to offer. As well as folks passing by who have never been to Iowa from afar.
